Students at EVHS and CCHS in Culpeper and CHS in Charlottesville, VA are planning an exchange trip to Germany in June 2015. To help curb expenses, we have created GBay to raise funds. Many local businesses have donated some great Gift Certificates as well as a few miscellaneous items donated by others. Note: You must have an email address to place a bid.

Week 1
16.6 Meet at Dulles Airport Departure for Zurich
17.6 1 PM Arrival in Zurich, train to Kreuzlingen and rest at youth hostel located in the park by the lake shore,, evening in historic city of Konstanz
18.6. Day in historic Meersburg, visit and tour through castle Meersburg, first built in 600 AD
19.6. Cable car ride 7500 feet to mount Säntis and ride to Albstadt - Arrival with host families
20.6. Family day, visit at the waterpark (Badkap) - optional
21.6. Group trip to the city of Horb to see the medieval festivities in town
Week 2
22.6. School day, hike to the Waldheim, High ropes course “Kletterpark” - optional
23.6. School day, afternoon trip to Ritter Sport, students get to create their own flavor of chocolate
24.6. School day, afternoon trip to Bisingen Biogas plant, tour and info session
25.6 School field trip to the capital of BadenWürttemberg: Stuttgart, Visit at Mercedes Benz Museum
26.6. School day- afternoon trip to historic Tübingen, city tour and gondola ride on the Neckar River
27.6 Hike to castle Hohenzollern and tour through the castle, BBQ at the Homburger Hof farm
28.6 5:45 AM departure to Berlin / 3:30 PM Arrival Stay at
A/O Hotel Berlin Mitte, Köpenicker Strasse 126, 10179 Berlin
Week 3
29.6 Berlin city tour, treasure hunt, Visit at Hohenschönhausen

7.7. Trip to the Black Forest and tour through the living history museum “Vogtbauernhöfe”, hike to the Wutachtal waterfalls
8.7. School Day and free afternoon, farewell dinner and program at school
